| This research paper explores the role that artificial intelligence (AI) can play in supporting this transition by examining its economic and administrative impact and the legal framework needed to protect and promote it. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach that involved a review of relevant literature and case studies in the region. The study indicate that AI can support the green economy in GCC countries in various ways. For example, AI can help improve resource efficiency, reduce waste, and increase renewable energy production. AI can also enhance the monitoring and management of environmental risks. the adoption of AI in the green economy also presents administrative challenges, such as the need to develop new policies and regulations, to ensure transparency and accountability, and to address ethical concerns. Therefore, a legal framework is needed to support and promote the use of AI in the green economy. This framework should provide guidance on issues such as data privacy, liability, and intellectual property rights. In conclusion, the study suggests that AI can play a significant role in supporting the transition to a green economy in GCC countries. However, the adoption of AI in this context presents significant administrative and legal challenges that need to be addressed. Therefore, policymakers and stakeholders in the region should collaborate to develop a comprehensive legal framework that promotes the use of AI in a responsible and sustainable manner. |
